Now all we need is the baby to wrap up in it. This blanket has taken me months as knitting is not my strongest point but at the same time I have enjoyed it. Nice to get it completed before Christmas I have to say. On to the next project. I have a couple of things to complete and then I thought I would try my hand at crochet. Watch this space. Not too closely, as you may have to wait a while!
Merry Christmas to all of you.
I am off to the emergency dentist tomorrow so will be back after Christmas to catch up with everyone's blogs then.
But I am just not happy with his beard. It's from a book of patterns I was given last year but the beard sits so much better on the picture in the book. I suppose to be fair it is made by a professional knitter who can write a pattern let alone read one. I still have to you tube or Google to find explanations when trying to knit things.
This is a now finished a UFO and also a Make a Month for December.
Christals Creations began it's journey in the heart of Suffolk. It started as a long established hobby and slowly grew into a small business.
I was making simple beaded jewellery and was involved in other crafts as a child. I started selling jewellery when I was asked to take part in a school fete and then in the staff room. In 2009, (with a little shove from my husband), I opened an on line shop with Folksy. Sadly this closed when we moved abroad with his job.
Since then I have also started hosting jewellery parties and making wedding jewellery. We are now still making jewellery but have relocated to a town in Germany.
