Where did it go?!

I can't believe how quickly the week has gone. It seems like I was only on here yesterday. So much to do. . .

I have found insurance for our stall at the steam rally which is a plus and I have been stockpiling jewellery. Still need more though.

My son has been a bit out of sorts this week so hacen't had quite as much concentration time as I would have liked but he seemed a lot better this evening so fingers crossed.

There have been some fab new sellers on folksy this week. Why not pop on and take a look for yourself at all the fascinating things on offer.

What's new?

Well I thought my son had chicken pox yesterday, but all gone today so i guess it must have been something else. He is in a right grump this evening though. My neighbours must wonder what on earth I do to the poor child the noise he makes at times.

I haven't been able to get much done the last couple of days, but I have made up a few necklaces for the carnival and the steam rally. I hope now the teeth are here I might be able to have an undisturbed evening and start something new. A tiara perhaps, with a mix of pearls and chrystals. Watch this space.

Red Friday

Well it was red Friday today and I forgot to wear red. Red Friday for those of you who don't know is a 'silent' support group for the British forces and their families. The idea behind it is that if everyone who supports the British troops wears red on Friday then without having to say a word the support will be obvious.
Red was choosen as the colour to symbolise the blood that has been shed - 'Least we Forget'

On a jewellery side of things I added several more items to my shop today, I had a very productive evening yesterday and was really pleased with the results.

Two of my favourites.

And I had a lovely phone call from my husband. So all in all a pretty good day!

More wonderful items from Folksy

I was having a little browse on Folksy earlier while my son was having a nap and I came across another lovely item. http://www.folksy.com/items/32606-Peace-Sparkle?shop=yes Go and take a peak at dark fairy treasures shop, there are some beautiful things there.

I am hoping the little monkey will drop off for his afternoon nap soon, we had a very busy morning at mums and tots and he is well overdue a sleep that and teeth make him a little grumpy.

I spent yesterday afternoon making 'Pocket Money Prices' for the Northwold Carnival so I am hoping to spend this afternoon working on a new project using some of the lovely beads that arrived in my delivery yesterday.

New Things and Folksy

Ahhh.
I have put my son to bed and settled on the sofa with a big box of new beads and findings. The best thing about buying from Jilly (www.jillybeads.co.uk) is you always get a little extra something in the box. Today it's 2 foil beads and 6 others. I love the excitement of opening that box and seeing all the treasures inside.
Something else I found today that I really liked was this shop on folksy particularly the bottled people. What a lovely idea as a gift with a bit of a twist.

Seems to take forever for posts to show up after you load up my page but i'm hoping i'll work it out soon.

Today has been an odd one but on the up side I have managed to get a couple of new items in my folksy shop and my son has slept well allowing me to relax for a while.

I am loving these buttons from Mollimoo http://www.folksy.com/items/32693-Vintage-fabric-buttons?shop=yes in her folksy shop. She has lots of other wonderful goodies in her shop so do drop by and take a look.
