2 weeks already. . . and some real human kindness!

Well as it says in the title of this post it has been two weeks already since hubby left us for his jaunt in the sand. It has gone quite quickly considering. I've spent one night in the hospital with the eldest boy, i've managed to do a massive grocery shop, celebrated being 31 with my Mum and Dad and the boys and spent many hours tidting away books and toys. Lets hope the next 16/17 weeks go as fast. I had some fab news today when I found out a close friend of mine is pregnant. Lovely birthday present!
Part of my list of things to do was to blog once a week so this is my attempt to keep it up. It wasn't a new years resolution as such just a list of things i'd like to achieve.

I also wanted to post about a fabulous lady over at Bluebell and Rosie. When I mentioned that our womens group had asked me to run a patchwork session one Tueday afternoon I was sent this fantastic package of materials to get us on our way. It's a community group with not a lot of money in the pot, that which it has comes from the local childcare centre and is spent very thirftily.
A great selection of materials!
You really should pop over to her website when you have a moment and see what lovely goodies she has in store.
I have had another very generous donation in the last couple of weeks but I will save that for another post or i'll run out of things to write about!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
All the best.   Fiona @ Christals Creations.

I'm also trying to blog more, I am amazed at people who can do it everyday, sometimes severel times. Good luck with the painting.

  3. I go through phases of blogging loads and then not blogging for ages! Even though one of my new years resolutions was to blog more regularly... Hope your eldest boy has recovered.
