Can you Help a Hero?

Many of you will recognise the Help for Heroes wristband pictured above.
For those of you that don't please pop over to the H4H website and take a look.
It is a cause that many of my friends and I feel very stongly about. So strongly in fact that one of them has pledged to trek Italy's 3 volcanic Mounts to raise over £2000 for the charity.
This is where you come in. If any of you reading this would like to support her you can do so by either donating to her justgiving page or if you are able by donating an item for her first event which is a raffle that is going to be drawn at the end of May.
Any donation of any sort would be really really appreciated.
I know many of you that read this are very craft orientated or have your own business and in many cases both so if you can find it in yourselves to donate to this amazing cause please contact me via this blog and let me know.
Please also mention this on your blogs, tweets, pages etc.
Many thanks to all of you.

COULD YOU HELP?

After a day of red, white and blue from the cocktails to the bunting and the pretty cupcakes.
Oh and of course there was a kiss or two.

I thought i'd switch a colour and talk about some red, blue and blue.

More Creating. . .

Today I had a bit of a fiddle with some large glass beads and some heavy duty wire and here is the result hanging in my neighbours garden with a basket on the bottom. It needs a bit of tweaking still but we like it!
I also need to mention Spring Makes Me Sing - the swap. While my parcel has not yet winged it's way to my partner I have received my own goodies.

The parcel neatly wrapped.

And the contents of those pretty packages.
My swap partner was Sadie from ebagsandgladrags it was her first swap. I hope she'll go on to enjoy many more. If my parcel doesn't put her off that is. :o)

Until next time fair readers. I hope your weekend has been as sunny as ours.

Some New Creations. . .

I have been a bit quiet on the blog front recently. I'm not sure what happened I'd been doing so well with a post a week and it all just sort of fell apart. Still i'm back now. Lots has been going on and we've been kept busy here in sunny Suffolk.
I have recently made a few new items for the shop when I am finally 'back to work' I can't resist the urge to pick up beads and fiddle in the evenings.
Here are some wine glass markers I made after a friend gave me a custom order a while back. You'll see most have light beads but two have darker. This was specific as they were all to be butterflies but two had to be more 'masculine' colours.
I found them really easy to do and am going to make up some sets for the school fair. Perfect for the party season we all slip into when the warm weather comes. :o)
