Sunny Start!

What a beautiful morning it was when I got up today. Sun shinning, blue sky and blossom everywhere I looked. I even hung my washing outside again after all these cold days of having it strewn around the house.

My day was made even brighter when my friend came for a cuppa and playtime for the boys and she bought a bracelet and earring set she had seen on Folksy.

I was also very excited as the postman knocked with a parcel to sign for. It was my new revolving earring display for parties and stalls.

I was very excited by it. I can't wait to try it out now.

I have also managed to keep up with my listing a day challenge and today I have added some earrings to match yesterdays bracelet.This is my item for today. I am off to do some bits and pieces with the husband and sprog now but I plan on coming back later to show you lots of the exciting items on the May Listers pages today.

Pearly 13. . .

Another day down.

I was a little more organised today and while hubby played with the little one this morning I hid in the 'craft' room and made this pretty pearl bracelet. I love these pink freshwater pearls and have used them in several projects.

I was browsing through the rest of the May Listers items and made a compulsive purchase of my own.

Now i've already nabbed this one for my hubby from aforementioned little one but click on the picture to see more of Claire's cards.

I am expecting visitors shortly so I will leave you with this for now and will maybe pop back later and show you some more of today's wonders.

Colourful Day. . .

So today is Day 12 of the May listing challenge and by the skin of my teeth I am up to date. It has been a funny old day in the 'Christals' household. But I was able to sit down and create an offering for today this evening. It meant I had to use artificial light for my pictures but that is just one of those things. At least I managed to get it done!

The other May listers have been out in force today and I have choosen just a couple of the many wonderful items that have been listed to show you.

Purple and Green

Hello everyone. What a dreary day it is today. Perhaps todays listing will help to cheer you up.

Lovely bright colours to perk up your day.

There have been many fab items listed on Folksy through the chllenge today.

Do please pop over and have a look. I would showcase you a few but we are just off out to have 'tea' with my sons friend. My lovely neighbours hubby is in Arizona training for Afghanistan and we have been invited for tea. She is a stunning cook so I couldn't refuse.

Day 10. . . Still going strong!

Well this was my listing for day 10 of the Mad Madness listing challenge. Something with a bit of colour in for the Spring.

And I thought i'd stick with the earring theme and show you all a few more of the challenge offerings. There are of course many other wondeful items from all the sellers taking part.

The fimo discs are handmade and just gorgeous in colour. The turtles make me think of summer and beaches and the blue seedbead earrings are just so pretty.

May Challenge . . .

So I have decided to take part in the Folksy May Listing Challenge. I am to list an item a day for the whole of May. So far I am up to date. I have managed to sneak a few extras in before I went on holiday and a few extras when we got back so today i'm right on track.

This was todays item.

I seem to have a bit of a pink theme going on. I was going to add more but my laptop is being rather slow so next time I shall endevour to provide you with a few more samples.

50 Followers Winner. . .

First I have to apologise to you all for disappearing. We had some trouble with our new tenants timings and after waiting all afternoon for them we ended up taking the little one to MIL and waiting there. They finally turned up at 11pm on Friday so we didn't end up making it home until Saturday afternoon. (The timings were hindered slightly by hubby deciding he had to get a new tattoo on Sat am as we were in town!).
However at least that is one less worry and we can relax a bit now.
So on to the all important business of who was the winner. I had a grand total of 9 entrants this time, which is two more than my first giveaway. I am not up to speed with random number generators I have heard other people use when they have giveaways and as my response was quite small I asked hubby to pick a number between 1 and 9. First I randomly gave each entrant a number, he choose 2 which when checked turned out to be Alison of AMIdesigns. Pop over and see her lovely creations. I think they are Yummy!
I had a good time blogging for the competition as I found a dew new blogs myself when I gained a couple of new followers. It was a good way to meet a few new people. So thank you to those that joined in.
I will put my little parcel together this afternoon and must remember to photograph it to show you what it contians before it's sent.
